WARRANTY

Sound & Light City offer a 12 month warranty on all sound equipment and a 6 month warranty on all lighting equipment. This warranty gives peace of mind against any possible manufacturing defects. All repairs need to be done by a qualified Sound & Light City technician for the warranty to remain valid.

 

REPAIRS

All repairs of equipment is done at our premises by qualified technicians. Sound and Light City pride ourselves with an average turnaround time of 3 days. This makes a weekend to weekend repair a possibility in most cases.

Our focus on root cause analysis and a systematic approach to fault finding is fast making our repairs department a testing ground for repairs that have done the rounds a few times in the industry.

Currently we are repairing all brands of equipment on site to keep the repairs department busy as our own products have the reliability we are accustomed to. This also gives us an advantage of seeing the difference in design and components of equipment that look similar to our products but are vastly different in quality and construction.

 
SERVICE
Please bring your hard-working equipment in for a well-deserved service on a regular basis to ensure optimum performance and many years of smooth operation.

LONG-LIFE TIPS

1. Have your equipment serviced regularly

2. Use water-based fog liquid only

3. Do not connect your intelligent lights to dimmer packs (don't laugh, this happpens)

4. Do not attach your expensive intelligent lighting to trussing with uncertifiable rigging equipmet (cable ties, duck tape etc)

5.Use safety cables along with your normal clamps.

6.Leave sufficient gaps between your analogue amplifiers in a flight case, as they generate lots of heat.

7. Change to LED-Lighting. Halogen-lamp spares are fast running out!

8.Ensure that your generator does not run out of fuel during a show.

9. Do not let confetti or other air-bourne paraphanalia (pink feathers etc) get close to your amplifier rack.
